Uganda Premier League (Match Day 27):
SC Villa 0-0 Ndejje University
Kirinya-Jinja S.S 2-0 Paidha Black Angels
Two relegation threatened clubs SC Villa and Paidha Black Angels failed to find a break through with a goal-less draw on match day 27 of the Uganda Premier League at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole on Tuesday.
The visitors suffered an early set back in the 18th minute when Steven Ategeka limped out and Samuel Matovu was introduced.
The Jogoos had the first threat when striker Charles Lwanga hit the upper right post off a cut back from Pius Wangi on the left after 23 minutes.
With eight minutes left on the clock, SC Villa defender Moses Kiggundu got cautioned by the referee William Oloya for blocking striker Anwar Ntege after fancy footwork from the forward.
There was a key talking point as the Jogoos were denied what seemed a clear penalty when Hamimu Ssemakula had his hand elevated before a goal bound shot hit it during the closing stages of the first half.
Ten minutes into the second half, SC Villa called for a double change.
Sharp striker Bashir Mutanda replaced Emmanuel Kalyowa and Ronald Magwali paved way for Joseph Ssemujju.
After the stalemate, both clubs remain in their respective positions.
SC Villa is 14th with 28 points, Ndejje University remains 13th with 25 points.
