Reports suggest Ghanaian forward Caleb Ekuban has agreed a personal term with Trabzonspor to stay with the Turkish side permanently.
Information gathered by Footballghana.com suggest Trabzonspor are on the verge of closing on with Leeds United for the transfer of their player.
The striker joined the Turkish top-flight club last summer on a season-long loan costing £170,000, with the deal including an option to purchase the Italian-born striker full-time this summer for a further £860,000.
Source has it that, Trabzonspor are eager to trigger the option clause, which runs only until 31 May.But management of Ekuban has finished personal terms with the club, including his salary and bonus payments details.
Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa has given the green light for the Ghana international to permanently exit Elland Road after freezing him out of his squad in the first month of this campaign.
Ekuban scored just two goals in 21 matches for United last season after signing from Italian Serie B side Chievo in the summer of 2017.
With Trabzonspor, Ekuban has been a regular starter and scored eight goals in his 30 appearances with three assists.
