Key Facts

  • Mikel Arteta’s side are 11 points behind first-placed Liverpool.
  • Nottingham Forest have lost three of their last five games.

Arsenal endured a disappointing weekend as their slim title hopes all but faded. Sitting 11 points behind Liverpool and operating without a natural striker, the Gunners look set to miss out on the trophy once again.

However, the remaining games present an opportunity to restore pride, starting with Wednesday’s clash against Forest. The hosts are still in the race for a top-four finish but have been struggling in recent weeks.

Their most recent outing ended in a defeat to Newcastle, giving the Magpies a strong chance of breaking into the top four as well.

Partey to Keep the Midfield Steady

Thomas Partey was unsurprisingly handed a start against West Ham, and although he put in a solid performance, it was not enough to prevent his team from losing.

The Odds

Nottingham Forest’s chances of winning are currently priced at 4.06 according to 1xBet, while Arsenal’s odds stand at 1.99. A draw is priced at 3.63.

Prediction

A stalemate could be on the cards. Arsenal are struggling to find the net, while Forest are finding it difficult to break teams down.

Predicted Scoreline: Forest 1-1 Arsenal
