Match Overview

Following their elimination from the UEFA Champions League last Wednesday at the hands of Real Madrid, Manchester City suffered more pain on Sunday, losing 2-0 to Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium, courtesy of goals from Mohamed Salah and Dominik Szoboszlai.

The weekend result left Pep Guardiola’s Citizens in fourth place with 44 points from 26 games. They now sit a massive 20 points behind leaders Liverpool, leaving them with almost no chance of retaining their title.

On the other hand, Tottenham secured a resounding 4-1 victory over relegation-threatened Ipswich Town away from home on Saturday, thanks to a Brennan Johnson brace and goals from Djed Spence and Dejan Kulusevski. The result left them 12th in the table with 33 points from 26 games.

Our Prediction for Tottenham vs Manchester City

Clashes between Manchester City and Tottenham are often highly contested and entertaining, with plenty of goals. We expect both teams to go all out in search of maximum points. While both sides have been strong in attack, their defensive frailties have also been exposed.

Punters are advised to bet on Both Teams to Score (YES) with odds of 1.31 on 1xBet. Alternatively, a bet on Over 2.5 Goals with odds of 1.30 on 1xBet also holds great value.

Player to Watch

Pape Matar Sarr – The Senegalese midfielder has already made 38 appearances for Tottenham this season. While primarily operating as a defensive midfielder, he has contributed five goals and two assists. His high energy levels and ability to disrupt play will be crucial as Spurs take on the reigning champions this Wednesday.

Best Odds and Betting Tips

We’ve identified the following as the best tips for this match:

  • Both Teams to Score (YES) – Odds: 1.31 (1xBet)
